Do you want some time to sew? Is it impossible to set aside time at home without being disturbed by your family? Or maybe sometimes you just need a bit of motivation.
 
The Sew & Sew Again weekend at The Craft House on Friday 7th to Sunday 9th November can help you achieve just that.
 
For 2 1/2 days, you can sew uninterrupted (apart from being brought cups of tea!) in the company of other like minded souls.
 
You can bring along any unfinished projects you wish, or alternatively you can have a go at making yourself a comfortable, perfectly fitting hoodie (using the Cashmerette Stanton pattern). The pattern and tuition is included in the weekend.
 
You have free use of the Craft House's sewing machines, overlockers and quilting machines, as well as all the tools and haberdashery.
The only things you need to bring are your projects and fabric for your finished items.
 
Some basic sewing knowledge is required, but there will be advice and help onhand throughout the weekend.
 
You can either attend just as a day delegate (joining us for dinner in the evenings), or you can stay at a local hostelry (this is all organised for you). Single rooms and twin rooms are available (subject to availability).
 
Weekend Agenda:
 
Friday
10am: Arrive, meet your fellow attendees and have a relaxing cup of tea or coffee.
10.30am: We start sewing!
12.30pm: We walk down the road to the local supermarket café for lunch. This is not included in the weekend price.
1.30pm (or whenever we return from lunch): Back to The Craft House to continue with our project. We will have coffee/tea and cake available in the afternoon.
6pm: Those staying the night will be taken up the road to the Café Tivoli. You will have time to settle into your rooms.
7pm: Dinner is provided at the Café Tivoli, which is one of the best fondue restaurants in the Swiss Romande, if not the whole of Switzerland. After dinner, your time is your own.
 
Saturday
7.30-9am: Breakfast is provided at the Café Tivoli for those staying there.
9.30am: (or thereabouts) We will continue with our project.
12.30pm: Lunch is again at the local supermarket café.
1.30pm: Back to The Craft House to continue with our project.
6pm: We will order pizza in. This is included in the price.
 
Sunday
8.30-9am: Breakfast is provided at the Café Tivoli for those staying there.
9.30am: (or thereabouts) We will continue with our project.
12pm: A cold lunch will be provided at the Craft House. If you have any allergies, or intense dislikes, please let me know at the time of booking.
2pm: We wrap up the weekend, showing off our clothing and projects, and saying goodbye to our new friends.
 
There are three packages available:
Day delegate - 300chf each
Includes: all materials (except the final fabric), use of tools and machines, hoodie pattern, coffee, tea & snacks, cold lunch on Sunday, fondue dinner on Friday, pizza on Saturday evening.
Not included: lunch on Friday and Saturday.  Accomodation.
 
Twin Room - 440chf each
Includes: Everything from the Day Delegate package, plus 2 night's stay sharing in a twin room at the Café Tivoli, breakfast on Saturday and Sunday.
Not included: lunch on Friday and Saturday.

Single Room - 480chf each
Includes: Everything from the Day Delegate package, plus 2 night's stay in a single room at the Café Tivoli, breakfast on Saturday and Sunday.
Not included: lunch on Friday and Saturday.
 
Please note that if you are using the Pay Later option to pay by Twint, payment must be made at least 21 days in advance, ie the 7th of March 2025.
 
If you cancel your booking before the 17th of October, and have paid, you will be entitled to a full refund. 
If you cancel your booking after this time, you will not receive a refund, unless you can find someone else to take your place.
